The Maldon Mud Race 2008
It's about -2°C, but 250 brave / mad folks are 'running' the 2008 Maldon Mud Race (on the 4th of January 2009).

All in a good cause though, the sponsored entrants and crowd donations went to a local hospice and Essex air ambulance.
